Nike Football has unveiled a landmark release: Alexia Putellas’ first-ever Player Edition boot, built on the Phantom 6 and designed to reflect one of the most influential players in the modern game.

Known as La Reina, Alexia dictates matches through intelligence, touch and total control. Her Player Edition brings that identity to life - blending elite performance innovation with deeply personal storytelling, and setting a new standard for how women’s football is represented through product.

A Number That Became an Identity

At the centre of the design is 11.

Not the obvious choice. Not the expected one. But the number that shaped Alexia’s journey. Inspired by watching Rivaldo growing up, she connected with the number early - and made it her own.

That story runs through every detail. The “More Than 11” theme repeats across the boot, with eleven elevens appearing from lace tips to sockliner, outsole to upper. It’s subtle, intentional, and personal.

For the first time, Alexia’s Nike logo also features - formed by two elevens merging into an elegant “A”, crowned as a nod to her jersey number, name and nickname.

Everything hides in the details

The colour palette mirrors Alexia’s presence on the pitch.

Radiant reds reflect power, movement and creativity. Light metallic accents add a premium finish, while glitter elements bring the boot to life under stadium lights. Layered graphics add depth, reinforcing that this is more than a colourway - it’s a story.
