After the Dogues (Mastiffs) stunning Ligue 1 title winning season, New Balance had to give the new champions a jersey worthy of their recent success. With the new LOSC Lille 21/22 home jersey, they've done just that.
The new jersey for the upcoming season has street style at the forefront of the design. In recent years, Lille jerseys have become a symbol for youth culture in the city, so if the jersey resonates with the club's young fans then the design team have hit the mark. We think they have with this clean design.
The energy that comes from the fans is the focus here - with the intention being that this jersey looks just as good in the streets as it does on pitch.
This time around the traditional red used comes in a richer red tone compared to last season, with repeating pentagonal shapes creating the pattern on the front of the jersey.

Tech wise the jersey features NB Dry technology which keeps you dry whether you're playing on pitch or supporting the team in the stands.
We can't wait to see if Lille can repeat the feat of last season next time around. With many of the club's best young talent likely to move on, and manager Christophe Galtier off to OGC Nice - it's going to be a tough task but one they're up for.
