Mizuno has unveiled ‘The Alpha’, the first of a new family of lightweight and fast boots. With the well-known Japanese company consistently releasing new, unique designs, this must be the finest one yet. Because of the innovative tech elements and synthetic materials that make up the brilliance of such a boot, the lightweight package weighs just 195 grammes.
Mizuno has a long history in the game, and boots like the Morelia demonstrate its superior craftsmanship, design, and comfort. Mizuno's Engineered Fit Woven is a new light and soft cloth that stretches very modestly to provide the optimal fit. The redesigned triangular studs also allow for additional speed and agility, with the Frame intended to hold the foot in position.
In addition to the Alphas that are ideal for all surfaces, the Mizuno Alpha MIJ AG are designed specifically for those who want to kick the ball about on synthetic grass. Mizuno has also designed an 'elite' version of the original Alphas for $350, which competes with Mercurial and Speedflow in the top boots for speed and comfort rankings. These boots have 2.5 times the grip of regular boots, which prevents slippage and allows the foot to move quickly on all surfaces.
