Nike Release The Air Zoom Mercurial Kylian Mbappé
Nike has just released the latest signature edition football boots for Kylian Mbappé. These are definitely not going to disappoint!
We've been eager for a signature edition Nike Air Zoom Mercurial ever since the debut dropped in July. You know the ones - the 'Air' Zoom Mercurial which we launched with Nike in epic fashion in our Melbourne store with the help of Sam Kerr.
Since the first model we've been treated to the 'Lucent' & 'Bonded' packs. Both of them are amazing with vibrant colourways which lit up the Women's Euros in the UK and current club campaigns. What we have here though is the first round of signature treatment for the new Merc. Nike has once again dialled things up for their star man and we're all better for it.
A close look at the boots shows that the Swoosh has been changed up this time around with what looks like an M logo subtly added. There's also a special diamond KM logo and we love the blue and purple colours used with the KM callout in gold.
The main colourway mix of 'Dark Beetroot' and 'Metallic Vivid Gold' oozes luxury and, dare we say it, is a little bit Barcelona vibey? Wonder what Florentino Perez would have thought of these if that Madrid move had of gone through..
The boots will, of course, be exclusively worn by Kylian Mbappé and we expect to see him rocking them against Juventus on Wednesday morning. Put your house on him scoring in these.
At our in store event in Melbourne with our GOAT Sam Kerr, Kerr mentioned she hadn't met Mbappé yet but was eager to do so. That all changed two weeks ago when they linked up for a Nike Football shoot.
Finally two icons of the Mercurial family have met up. Anyone beating those two in a mixed 2v2? We doubt it. Who knows, maybe we'll even get to greet Mbappé in store in the not too distant future.
