Liverpool launch the 23/24 third jersey
The new season has arrived, and Liverpool is pinning its hopes on newcomers Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister to help lead a title charge. The home and away jerseys have already been launched, evoking nostalgic looks from the 70s and 90s, and now it's time for the third jersey.
The Liverpool 23/24 third jersey was unveiled at a free fan event in the historic Liverpool Olympia last week. Fans were excited to catch glimpses of players like Alisson Becker and Dominik Szoboszlai in attendance. Today marks the launch day, and we are confident that this jersey will be a hit among the fans.
The jersey's design was a collaborative effort with BOSS Night, a musical group known for performing Liverpool anthems at events all across Europe. Featuring a bold purple ripple design, the jersey includes black sleeve cuffs, collarbone inserts, and side panels. The club crest and Nike Swoosh logos exhibit a distinctive speckled texture achieved through the utilisation of Nike Grind. This pioneering process involves converting manufacturing remnants and old shoes into fresh recycled materials.
It was a solid start to the new season for Liverpool with a 1-1 draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Will they have enough in the squad to go far in the cups and push City and Arsenal for the title this season? One things for sure - they'll definitely look the part with their lineup of home, away and third jerseys.
