ADIDAS LAUNCH NEW JAMAICA HOME & AWAY KITS

First revealed at a Paris Fashion Week runway last month, both the Jamaica 2023 home and away kits are coming in hot.
Designed in collaboration with adidas by British-born Jamaican fashion creative, Wales Bonner. This kit was another huge milestone for the football fashion movement.
These kits marked a first-ever Jamaican international football kit to be produced by the three stripes, and lucky for you, is now set to be released at Ultra Football.
Since leaving Umbro as their main kit supplier, the Jamaican Football Federation has been showcasing teasers with tiny bits of information that show off the colours and the design as part of the new partnership announcements.
One of the announcements wrote:
“This special partnership will not only celebrate Jamaican football but also Jamaican style and culture."
With that bit of information, the federation hinted at the possibility of a lifestyle focused element to the partnership, leading to speculation of potential collaborations and special releases in the future.

The adidas Jamaica 2023 home shirt combines a yellow base with green pinstripes with additional usage of black for logos. It is a very safe yet iconic look. One that truly shouts ‘Reggae Boyz!’.
Template-wise, the Adidas Jamaica 2023 home jersey has an overlapping v-neck collar. This template was used and praised for several Adidas 2022 World Cup kits, including the Spain away, Mexico home, and Belgium home and away kits.
A fairly retro looking shirt, the real differentiation comes in the collar and cuffs, which are finished in the colours of the Jamaican flag.
Onto the adidas Jamaica 2023 away shirt which is mainly ‘night brown’ with pale yellow logos. The Away shirt strikes as one to be a simpler affair, a dark base joined by reggae-inspired details.
What stands out on the Jamaica 2023 away kit is the collar which comes with a five-colour design. The red/green/yellow/red/green used here really shows off the effort that adidas and Wales Bonner went to for storytelling and paying homage to Jamaican heritage.
Latest technology has been applied by adidas to produce comfort for both players and fans.
With the authentic adidas kits, expect to find high performance cooling technology through HEAT.RDY, whilst the replica kits offer moisture-wicking technology through AEROREADY.
Love it or hate it, this release made heads turn from all over the world. The love that Jamaicans have for the game is undeniable, with so many cultural icons showing love to the game, from Bob Marley referencing his lyrics to football, Usain Bolts short career as a player and not to mention Arsenals recent pre match shirts which paid homage to the rich Jamaican heritage seen across London and the UK.
