adidas F50 2010 Remakes — A Double Drop of Speed & Nostalgia
Mon, May 05.25

Two boots, two stories, same iconic DNA. Adidas is throwing it back to 2010 in style, with not one but two fresh remakes of the legendary F50 Adizero boots. Both pairs were spotted on pitch over the weekend — worn by two of Germany’s finest — as a little teaser before their official release.
Two Versions. Same Icon.
The adidas F50 Adizero 2010 football boots were iconic for one clear reason — speed. Back in 2010, these were the lightest boots in the game (less than 165g), and they exploded onto pitches at the World Cup with players like Messi, Robben and Villa.
Now in 2025, adidas is dropping two remakes, giving you the choice between classic leather touch or featherlight synthetic feel.
1. Synthetic — Yellow / Core Black
This one’s all about speed and flair.
A direct nod to the OG Yellow F50 Adizero, it uses modern synthetic materials to recreate that razor-sharp, ultra-lightweight feel.
-
Upper: Synthetic
-
Look: Vibrant yellow with black Three Stripes
-
Feel: Lightweight and fast
2. Leather — Core Black / Yellow
This version brings a more traditional touch. The soft black leather upper keeps the iconic F50 graphic but upgrades the comfort. The current F50 soleplate underneath means you’re still flying.
-
Upper: Premium leather
-
Look: Sleek black with yellow accents
-
Feel: Soft touch, smooth ride
Spotted on pitch?
It’s no coincidence adidas handed these to two players with two very different stories.
Müller — A Bayern legend in his final season. After news broke that he wouldn’t get a contract extension, he’s been proving every week that he’s still got the quality. A classic boot on a classic player — makes sense, right? His career at Bayern has always been full of drama and headlines. Fitting that even the end has a bit of FC Hollywood about it.
Wirtz — The breakout star. After helping Leverkusen win the title last season and staying for another crack this year, he’s about to be one of Europe’s hottest properties. The F50 synthetic is all about future stars — and we wouldn’t be shocked if Bayern are already lining up to sign him.
