  • 10 Players to Sign in Fifa 22 Career Mode

With the recent release of FIFA 22 we have a look at 10 of the best young players in the game and pick out 10 players we think you should sign in your FIFA 22 Career mode.

Illan Meslier GK - Leeds United

Illan Meslier is one of the better-known players on the list, starting every week in the premier league for Leeds United. In FIFA 22 Career Mode you can expect the 21-year-old French keeper to reach the high 80s in his prime after starting the game with a 77 rating. He might be out of your price range though if you starting on a smaller budget, Meslier will probably cost you around €20 million ($30 million AUD).

    Charlie Patino CM - Arsenal

Charlie Patino is an English 17-year-old Arsenal academy product who can play as a central midfielder or can take up a defensive midfielder role. Patino will start your FIFA 22 career mode in the low 60s and can reach the mid-80s in his peak years, making him a good option if you’re managing a  2nd or 3rd division side looking for promotion. Patino will cost you between €1 - €2 million ($1.5-$3 million AUD) or you could pay his €3.5 million release clause ($5.5 million AUD).

    Xavi Simons CM - PSG

Xavi Simons has been touted as the next big thing out of PSG for a couple of years and that is starting to be reflected in his FIFA potential. The 18-year-old from the Netherlands will start your FIFA 22 career mode at around 66 overall and should reach the mid-80s if everything goes to plan. You can expect to pick up Xavi Simons for just under €5 million ($8 million AUD) or you could pay his €5.4 million ($8.5 million AUD) release cause if you don’t want to negotiate.

Myron Boadu ST - AS Monaco

Myron Boadu has just earned a move to Monaco after a successful spell at AZ in the Netherlands. The Dutch striker will start your FIFA 22 career mode at 76 overall and can reach the mid-to-high 80s depending on performance. Myron would be a good option for a first division club looking for a young striker, costing around €20 million (30 million AUD) or alternatively you could activate his €35 million release clause ($55 million AUD).

Charis Chatzigavriel GK - APOEL Nicosia

Charis Chatzigavriel is a keeper from Cyprus and a great option if you’re on a budget. Chatzigavriel will start your FIFA 22 Career mode in the 50s but the 17-year-old could reach the mid-80s proving to be a great investment. Chatzigavriel will cost you less than €500k ($700k AUD) so would be a good buy for a team in the lower divisions.

    Jules Kounde CB - Sevilla

Jules Kounde has announced himself as one of the best young defenders in the world after signing for Sevilla from Bordeaux for €25 million in 2019. The Frenchman will reach the high 80s and could probably even break the 90 barrier with good performances. You would have to be at a Champions League level club in your FIFA 22 career mode to sign Kounde with him costing around €55 million ($87 million AUD) or his release clause is a massive €122 million ($195 million AUD).

    Ryan Gravenverch CM - Ajax

Ryan Gravenverch is another player tipped for big things from Ajax’s long list of academy products, joining the club at 10 years old. The 19 year old midfielder from the Netherlands starts the game in high 70s and has potential to be one of the best midfieders in the world in your FIFA 22 career mode with a potential of 90+. You could offer Ajax something around €35 million ($55 million AUD) or pay the €53 million release clause ($85 million AUD).

    Dane Scarlett ST - Tottenham

Dane Scarlett is a Tottenham Hotspur academy product and a potential hidden gem in FIFA 22 Career mode. Scarlett stats the game in the low 60s but if you stick with the 17-year-old Englishman he could end up being in the high 80s in his prime. Scarlett would be a great option for a 2nd or 3rd division side, you can expect to pay between €1 - €2 million ($1.5-$3 million AUD) for Scarlett or he has a release clause of €4.5 million ($7 million AUD).

Joško Gvardiol CB - RB Leipzig

Joško Gvardiol is a Croatian defender from RB Leipzig who has also already made 5 caps for his country. Gvardiol is left-footed and plays for Leipzig on the left side of a back 3 but can easily play in a back 4 either as a left-sided CB or at left back. Gvadiol would be a great option for a mid-table first division side as a starter in your FIFA 22 career mode, costing around €12 million ($19 million AUD) and has a release clause of €24 million ($38 million AUD).

Antwoine Hackford ST - Sheffield United

Antwoine Hackford is Sheffield United’s youngest ever player to play in the Premier League, making his debut at 16 years old last season. Hackford will start your FIFA 22 career mode in the high 50s but if you stick with him he could be a starting striker for a top level club with a potential of around 85. Hackford will cost you barely anything, you could pick him up for around €500k (700k AUD).
