The standouts for us in the new Nike 'Mad Ready' pack are the new Phantoms. We've delved into the details, including the soleplate and other features, essentially transforming the Phantom into a true high vs low cut choice. We discussed this in detail when introducing the new Phantom Vortex pack earlier this year which you can catch up on here. While the Vortex pack was excellent, the colour palette might not have been for everyone. This 'Lemonade/Black' design is far more commercial, and we believe it will be extremely popular. They just class as hell, don't they?

The Tiempo Legend X showcases a lot of 'Lemonade' in the forefoot, in contrast to the Phantoms which incorporate more black throughout. Black accents through the Swoosh and collar, along with touches of gold, truly elevate these Tiempos. It's one of the best colourway executions for Tiempo, a silo that may be out of the limelight but never out of mind, for a long time.
The star of the show always tends to be the Air Zoom Mercurial in terms of popularity, and the Vapor XV and Superfly IX look incredible in that Lemonade/Black colorway, in our opinion. The thick black "Air" branding stamped on the side of the boots, with that wrap-around Swoosh, looks like perfection in boot form. Lemonade in in that off-white style really works best here.

With all silos now in stock and available, the choice is now yours. What will you choose? Will you step into a fresh pair of Phantoms to test out what all the fuss is about? Or will you stick to something a bit more tried and tested, like Tiempo or Mercurial? Either way, whatever you choose is going to have you looking the business when you roll down to pre-season training here in Australia and New Zealand.
