The theme of global warming is the main concept behind the Reading FC match kits for the 2022/23 season. Both the front and back of the jersey feature the classic blue and white stripes associated with the club. The sleeves, meanwhile, feature a design created by the University of Reading, which uses colours to show the global warming that has affected the city in recent years. The coloured stripes actually represent degrees.
