Around The Grounds #5
  •  Erling Haaland (Dortmund) – Laser Crimson Mercurial Vapor

We can’t really find words to sum up Erling Haaland other than the obvious clichés. His current rate of scoring a goal every 16 minutes for Dortmund is quite simply extraordinary.

Somebody test him and see if those Laser Crimson Mercurial Vapors are legal because the numbers don’t stack up! What a player.

  • Maya Yoshida (Southampton – on loan at Sampdoria) – Mizuno Victory Gold

Maya Yoshida got a late move to Sampdoria in the January transfer window which is a shame for Premier League boot fanatics as we won’t get to see the stunning Mizuno Victory Gold Rebula on pitch! You’ll be able to cop yours this week at Ultra Football.

  • Karim Benzema (Real Madrid) – Mutator Pack X 19.1

It was derby delight for Karim Benzema who is putting up amazing numbers in the Mutator Pack X 19.1 as well this season. The goal against Atletico Madrid sees him sitting just 1 behind Lionel Messi in the goalscoring charts.

One of the most under appreciated players of our generation.

  • Ferland Mendy (Real Madrid) – adidas Predator 20.1 Low

Ferland Mendy is flourishing under Zinedine Zidane and is now an undisputed started at left back from Los Blancos. Faith in the young Frenchman is paying off with his peach of an assist for Karim Benzema in the all new Predator 20.1 Low-Cut model proof of the impact he can make on this side.

  • Robert Lewandowski (Dortmund) – Laser Crimson Venom

Lewandowski notched up his 150th goal for Bayern at the weekend to help them clinch another league win.

It’s getting very tight at the top of the table with 4 teams now separated by just 3 points, but that’s not the only tight race though with just two goals separating Robert Lewandowski in Laser Crimson Phantom VNM and Timo Werner for top goal scorer honours.

Our money is still on RL9 to take home the honours at seasons end, but Timo could still surprise us all. Speaking of surprises, anyone willing to bet on Erling Haaland to catch up? 15 goals will be caught up in no time at this rate!

  • Matthijs De Ligt (Juventus) – Mutator X 19+

Matthijs de Ligt recently said he sympathises with fans who are disappointed with his start at the club, saying he "would also be angry" if he was in their position. His late headed goal in Mutator X 19.1 against Fiorentina will help.

  • Cristiano Ronaldo (Juventus) – Laser Crimson Superfly

Cristiano has stretched his scoring streak to nine successive Serie A games in Laser Crimson Superfly, equalling a club record held by former striker David Trezeguet.

You just know he’ll beat it.

  • Romelu Lukaku (Inter Milan) – Spark Pack Future

Romelu Lukaku continued to mix things up against Udinese, wearing the Spark Pack Future over his usual One model. We might see him commit to Future after the double he scored!

  • Daniel Maldini (AC Milan) – Laser Crimson Phantom Vision II

One for the purists. We had to include Daniel Maldini in our ATG this week. Although the young striker didn’t get on the score sheet, seeing a third generation Maldini run out for Milan got nostalgia flowing. We hope he makes his mark for the club wearing the Laser Crimson Mercurial Vapor and playing in a different position to what we’re used to associating with a Maldini.
